There are ways to do it, but I fail to see why it would be necessary...

There are others on a local level with access to my live files and I would like to keep them safe from modification

If other people have access to your live files you have bigger problems than people just modifying files. The solution is not to encrypt the files but to remove the local access from other people.

i would use http://www.smartgb.com/free_encrypthtml.php to encrypt any of my html or php code on my store if i were you.

But is there a better?

And the java script encryption at http://www.smartgb.com/free_encrypthtml.php... is possible to decode it?

What if some one places a code and steals all your data from data base or modifies config values in data base.
