I am trying to get a small store of 2 to 3 products to display a truncated description of the products on the home page. I am unsure how to add a second descritption box to the admin section and to the database or more specifically where in the database.

This current code seems to be working somewhat but it is not displaying my product images or prices any suggestions on what decimal point or " I forgot to end.

Why don't you just use Featured Products to display the products on your index.php ?
