Hi All,

I was wondering if there is an option to create a mandatory field in the checkout screen so the user will be able to indicate whether Visa or Mastercard will be used in the transaction. I am currently using the VISA, MasterCard, or American Express (CAD) module for Canadian clients, it would help greatly if there is a section in the Checkout that the user can click to indicate Visa or Master Card etc. to appear in the Order summary once it has gone through. As of now, only the number and expiry of the card appears and it will not indicate which of the two cards was used.

Any feedback, solutions would be awesome. Thanks.

Rufin,

I strongly suggest you DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS DIRECTLY ON THE WEBSITE, however if you insist:

I would suggest updating your credit card module to a newer version that offers the selection of the card and validates that selection based on the card digits.
