First, I want to say that OSC is the best solution for ecommerce today. After three weeks of learning, customizing, adding mods, and pulling most of my hair out, I think my site is ready to go live. I would love any and all comments. (Site is not live yet, so pls no orders)
Here is the URL:

PS. I promise Ill start contributing to the community :D

It's a pretty site.

Couple suggestions. Set the back ground color of the page the same as the color of your exterior of the page so it does not flash white.

You shopping cart with content grows larger than the header so you might want to adjust for that.

Some of your images could use a reduction in size for a faster load.

While you do not have a huge quantity of products right now in there, turning off the counters on the categories will speed it up and later if you have a lot of products in there, this will be substantial.

Otherwise, looks fairly sharp.

Hi,

Well done, from what is a very standard looking osc installation, this is one of the best customisations I have seen achieved by messing with the style sheets and infoboxes etc, it's very simply done, but it works great and the look seems to to suit the products you are selling.

One other thing I noticed, the keyword listing in the footer is an excellent idea! I had never thought of doing this. If you had just suggested the idea to me I would have dismissed it as being visually unacceptable, but actually seeing it, it looks perfectly ok.

Unfortunately ... a search engine no no.

Depending on how that paragraph is looked at, that is stuffing the keywords ... and the search engines pack up their toys and go home.

Putting keywords in the footer as such are not necessarily a search engine no-no. As long as it looks like a paragraph, and the keyword density on the page is not to high, it works very well. This is based off of past experience

Well I hope it isn't looking at the "skin density" then

Shop is back up with some extra modifications. It has also moved to different servers. The new address is http://www.qualityskincareproducts.com I believe it will finally go live next week. Anyway, any additional feedback would be helpful.

Thanks,
David

Looks great! seems to function well. The only thing I would reconsider is the color of the background in the account area....that lavendar clashes with the rest of the site. Perhaps a barely pink?

Kim,
You are right. That does clash. Im going to change it to a very light off pink or purple as soon as I can find where I changed the color in the first place :?
