Hey - I'm starting a business that needs an eCommerce site. In addition to selling normal static products, I need to also have a customizable option. For example, on the page you would select via drop down -
Size
Color
Class
Etc.
The price of the product would remain the same regardless of the selection, really I would just need that information to build said item in said customization.
Thanks

That is a basic solution thata lmost every shopping cart can deal with. The size, color, class drop downs are called ATTRIBUTES. There are a load of different ways to display attributes and lots of addons that you can use to enhance how these attributes display. What is it that you are selling?
A great place for newbies to start
