We have a client who has a number of product photos that vary to very wide to very tall. When we set up the photos and installed them, some of the taller ones are obviously very squished. We have run them through Photoshop but there are still a few that not looking very nice. The photos are key in his sales.
We are looking for a solution to being able to have multiple-sized product photos on the product pages. Specifically, we have some bottles (tall), and some toy train photos (wide).

Depending on the type of multi image add on you have, for the multi images (not the main product) cahnge the SMALL_IMAGE_WIGHT & SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT to say MEDIUM if your add on has seperate defines like that, if not you can use my add on http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6211 which will add this for you, then make all multi images 300 x 300px and then in admin remove the settings for medium width and height, dont put it as 0 but leave the field blank.
Not sure if something like osC thumb can do this also, or another image thumbnail add on will be able to do it faster.
