Hi,

Comments greatly received please! My first site, so go easy...

http://www.wherefaerieslive.com/catalog/

Apologies for the animated gifs, they are at the request of the store owner.

Thanks,

The red text is very difficult to read against the black background in higher resolutions. Perhaps a slightly different shade could be used. At 800x600 the background appears to have white speckled about...Is it supposed to be that way?

You have kept the theme very well throughout.

The background (clients choice) is supposed to look like stars.

I'll try a lighter shade of red

Thanks BirdBrain!

Maybe, you can suggest that the effect didn't succeed as planned??? I didn't even notice them at 1024x768...... :?

I've changed the color completely, what do you think?

I'll work on an alternative background...

I can see the background at 1024x768... little white, green, red and blue specs with a twinkling star here and there... I think that the background looks perfect the way it is...

might want to have thumbs of the book covers or at least a description though... also the prices seem kinda high (yikes!)

Immediate impression: I like it. The background gives it a mystical
feeling.

It's awful*, but the target market will probably love it.

* I hate any site that has a dark coloured background, it makes it look 1998 Geocities Homepage style.

Totally agree, although I hope I managed to do it slightly better than they did back then!
