HI EVERYONE, I NEED HELP THIS TOPIC AND THIS IS URGENT.

OK NOW I SET UP XAMPP AND RUN OSCOMMERCE. EVERYTHING IS RUNNING WELL, BUT JZ I M NOT ABLE TO SEND MAIL OR NOTIFICATION

now i would like to do a testing, to send mail on localhost, but smtp is a problem. because of smtp, i not able to send any mail, including notification, updates and etc. as long as the function is related to send mail. i m not able to send.

can anyone have any idea on how to set up a smtp server on local host and allow me to demo the project using the localhost(xampp)

i need urgent help on this topic because i need to demo my project on localhost.

i need a clear explanation about the ways to set up a smtp server which allow me to demo my project locally, which allow me to send mail to another user on the local host.

Unless you have a mail transport program installed on your localhost it cannot be done.
