Hi
I have searched the forums and not found a solution to this problem which is the inability to back up the database from admin tools. When I attempt a backup I receive a message saying the backup is successful but no file is created and no filename is returned to the screen.
When I attempt a backup to download to my pc I receive an empty file.
The database can be accessed via OSCommerce for all other operations.
I am running V2.2 rc2.
Any pointers gratefully received.

The default tool is bugged, you should replace it, if you use AutoBackup Database in Admin http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2314 its setup routine will check your setup is correct, also add Database backup manager http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5769 for general backup operations, you may also find Backup of all store files in zip format http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6986 useful.
