I searched the forum, but I didn't see this topic.

I have three domain names on my account with my webhost. OSCommerce wants to install only under the primary domain name, but I need it to install under one of the secondary or "add-on" domain names. In other words, the URL for my store is www.primarydomain.com/store instead of www.addondomain.com/store. How can I install it in the correct place?

Thanks!

If your host lets you, you should be able to type in the address when you go to install OSCommerce. If your doing it from your host it will most likely fill this information in for you. All you have to do is change it in the box to read your add-on domain.

I tried that, but it only showed the domain after it was installed, so it didn't work.

Take a fresh package from the downloads here and create a new database via your host cpanel

If you want to have your store in the root (=main domain) then upload all files and folders of osCommerce to your servers root.

If you want to have it in a addon domain, then upload everyhing to the subfolder that corresponds to this subdomain

You can run the installation, or just configure the 2 configure.php files (/incudes/ and /admin/includes/) manually
