I've open my e-shop for about four months now...
being a new biz, it's still slow and do only about $500 per month on credit card alone.
I've started with paypal as it's easier choice (as far as setup and fees) and they resulted in 50% or higher fraud and chargebacks... I have no idea why they'd do this to themselves... lol
Anyways, now I'm looking for a credit card processing company...
Something that can be connected to OScommerce and also offers type in for phone orders or customers who's next to me. (but doens't have to have seperate type in thing)
And I seen this one place where they offer gauranteed no chargeback with 6% fees... which I'm interested as well but it's in UK, not US.
Biggest thing of course is hoply no setup fee and low monthly fees... and SECURE so I don't have to deal with chargeback all day long...
Any suggesstions?

Accepting credit cards directly will increase your sales by 50% or more, yadda, yadda, yadda...
But...at $500.00 a month in volume I would actually recommend that you stick with PayPal for now. A Merchant Account does not make much financial sense until you hit at least $1,500.00 per month in volume. Anything lower and you are paying fees just for the sake of having a Merchant Account.
