I am trying to duplicate the manufacturers box so that I can use it as a shop weight box.

Can anyone list the files I need to alter / duplicate.

I have done

admin/includes/database_tables.php
admin/includes/filenames.php
admin/includes/languages/english.php
admin/includes/boxes/catalog.php
admin/includes/manufacturers.php - copied and altered

catalog/includes/boxes/manufactureres.php - copied and altered
catalog/includes/boxes/manufactureres_info.php - copied and altered
catalog/includes/languages/english.php
catalog/includes/classes/box.php
catalog/includes/database_tables.php
catalog/includes/filenames.php

I have also duplicated and renamed the 2 manufacturer tables in the database.

At the moment it doesn't seem to be working and I'm thinking I've missed something obvious.

There are contribution that for addig boxes. Several different one's. Look there for the other changes you need to do.

It is also a lot easier to troubleshoot if we know what the problem is. "Not working" is pretty broad. Is it displaying a blank page in the browser? Giving you a 500 page? Working great except no box appears? Displaying an error? Showing incorrect output in the box?

I notice that your list does not mention includes/column_left.php or includes/column_right.php
