Hello everyone.
I'm working on a website which will feature multiple languages and multiple currencies. I want to have all the transactions processed in US Dollars. Does anyone know how to force credit card and PayPal processing to US Dollars, regardless of how the customer is viewing (i.e. no matter what currency they see)?
The store is using PayFlow Pro (PayPal) to accept credit cards and PayPal Express Checkout for PayPal transactions. The store is U.S. based, but has customers in other countries.
For example, the store owner plans to offer U.S. English, UK English, and AU English, with transactions appearing in the native currency. But again, the idea is to have the transactions processed in U.S.D. I am not sure how that's going to work or if it is even possible to force this.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Regards,
David

you can install the module which allow to switch to default currency:
http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3333
http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3333
Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!
8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.
Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.
Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Alex,
Thank you so much. I did of course search the forums and contribs prior to posting. However, search still has its limits these days.

Hello, I have a slightly different problem with my website.
All of my goods are purchased in American Dollars but I'm selling in Australia and can only accept payment in Australian Dollars or I am charged a fee by my merchant facility, furthermore exchange rates are effecting my margins as i have had to input my prices in Australian Dollars.
I need to be able to input my prices in American Dollars but force the purchase to Australian Dollars.
Is there any way of doing this??
thank you
