Hello,
I am expecting problem with taxes. I installed osCommerce, added tax zone for the only country I need to make VAT for, and added tax rate to that zone, but the tax does'n display nor in the store itself (as Default Prices With Tax is true), neither in cart, at checkout etc. It looks like osCommerce doesn't know there is a tax. Or it doesn't know where the country is placed. (I am inside that country, not using any proxys etc.
Please help. Thank you.

go to admin > modules > order total > tax - and make sure display tax is set to true

if you have admin > configuration > my store > Display Prices with Tax: true, then osC will add the tax to your product price

I have all those "true", but the tax still doesn't add to price...

In admin>>catalog>> products--> edit your products --- Did you set your products to be taxable?

After performing all the steps in this thread, I'm still unable to see taxes (either in product listing or at checkout). Is there something else I'm missing?
