Hello,
I'm just starting to look into building a website with a cms and i have a few questions.
There is a number of e-solutions but what is the difference between them ?
http://www.zen-cart.com/
http://drupalecommerce.org
and oscommerce
etc.
My first goal is to create a page saying under construction and a possibility for my future clients drop in their email for notification when we launch.
Is that something i could easily do with oscommerce ?
can you give me more details on what i would need to do in order to get me started.

In your text editor put:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"

<h1>Do you want to see a Ghost?</h1>
</body>
</html>
Add aditional h1 lines for your email address.
Forgot to say save file as html.

It astounds me when poeple without even a basic knowledge of html think they can set up web sites without much study first
