First of all, thanks for this huge work !
The installation is so fast and much more friendly than the v2.2 that i just felt in love with Alpha5 before testing it completly!

well, i didn't have problem during the install

the frontend works perfectly
i create a new user
add product to cart
order
everything works fine!

the backend is wonderfull! much more better than the creload (which is not free...now we could ask why?)
i tested almost part of the admin panel
but i had a little problem to add product.
As the script is calling imagemagick and my hoster doesn't support that php function its just can't work properly adn so i can't upload pix for new product
i notice some others bug in the "new product form". but i don't know if it's because i have the imagemagick problem...
here the problems:
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/bin/convert) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/www/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:/tmp:/opt/php/lib/php) in /home/www/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/web/OSC/admin/includes/applications/products/actions/save.php on line 23
i have to finish to make the "new product" and save it and then edit it to have the right to see the boxes "quantity", "model", "weight" in the "Data form"
when i edit a product i can't manage to delete the picture or to add a new one but i guess it's because the imagemagick problem...

that's all!

great work!
thanks for all

(sorry for my poor english...)

Does it works only with imagemagick? Not with other libraries like GD2? ...what a bad news... GD2 is installed everywhere, imagemagick not.
I love oscommerce and OS software! I'm not a programmer, I'm only a learning boy and a translator :) I love full contribution packages!

Both ImageMagick and GD are supported, where ImageMagick has priority over GD.

The open_basedir error is due to the default configuration location of ImageMagick's "convert" program being /usr/bin/convert. If you are able to install "convert" to a directory within the open_basedir limitations, please correct the location at the Administration Tool -> Configuration -> Configuration -> Program Locations page.

If you are not able to use "convert", please update the configuration location to an empty value. GD will then be used to manipulate the images.

Since I'm still new with this thing what you're saying is I can just delete the path ti imagemagic, /usr/bin/convert and GD will process product images?.. I hope i'm reading this right..
