Hi,

I have installed osCommerce. I have gone intot he admin panel and update the info in "My Store" section.

This "updated" information does not display on my catalog though, it just shows the default install stuff.

Is there suppose to be something else I am suppose to do?

Thank-you,
luke

Most of these settings are configuration items that won't show up until you buy something.
Try to buy a couple of things and look at the email you receive.

So we need to customize the default.php page our selfs? I thought it would pull the values for "my store"

Such as the store name.

All text is pulled from the language files, eg:
includes/languages/english.php and
includes/languages/english/*.php

I am new to this script.. sorry for the many questions...

All I wish to do now is customise the pages, appears this cannot be done via the admin panel, so which files do I need to modify? default.php?

My install so far:

http://atrickmail.net/catalog/default.php

Are there any easy to follow documentation anywhere?

Thanks,
luke

Luke,

There is an Installation and Modification Manual available at http://www.oscdox.com It should help get you started with making OSC your own.
