I have one registered company (Limited Liability and Vat Registered) yet I legally trade under several trade names. It makes it easier for accounting purposes. I think the important thing is not to try and mislead people so make sure that this detail is in the About Us section.

KWD Ventures runs 70 OSCommerce stores and counting. KWD Ventures is the business. Every store plainly states at the top that the business is KWD Ventures store. Here is an example of one of our new stores: http://www.mercedes-floor-mats.com/ Think of it this way: Pep boys or Autozone doesn't need to form a new LLC every time they open a new location. A URL is just another location... Hence the name: uniform resource locator.
