Why cant there be plug-ins to install as easy as for WordPress?
It really stinks the amount of time some of the contributions take to be installed.

It would be nice to have it that easy. However, wordpress plugins don't alter the core functionality of the program nor do they change the code of wordpress itself. That's why you are able to copy each new version of wordpress over the last and have everything still work.

if oscommerce did that, we wouldnt have HALF of the most use contributions out there.. Tableless is a different story... but doing it "plug in" style would basically be like the kindergarden oscommerce
