Hi,

Hopefully one you knowledgeable people might be able to help or advise me on something.

Basically, we run an online store, and we also have a physical store where we take payments through a card machine.What I am wondering is what are the legalities and would it be possible for us to have the order details including the full card details emailed so we can put them through our machine and save a fortune on paypal fees.

What you are talking about is saving you money at the expense of your customers who stand to get their card details compromised. Sending details by email is even more insecure than storing them in a database.

If you are wondering why credit card fraud has shown such an increase in the UK over recent years - it's because of people doing daft things such as using email to send card details or storing card data on a website using a shared server.

You could look in the contributions area for an add on such as Mail in payment, or phone payment, etc
