Cart says card not charged but Auth.net actually did charge!

Hi,

Helping a client on a one off thing with their shopping cart.

Their cart uses Auth.net and when someone places an order it tells them that their card wasn't charged and it actually was charged!

Then they still dont get notification that someone placed an order so they aren't following up with sending out an item - not good for business.

Ive seen lots of Auth.net issues on here but none quite like this - can anyone offer guidance or tips or tricks to try?

Hello,

I would take a look at the return string from authorize.net. It may contain the answer to your issue and help solve your problem.
