Multiple Pricing for One Product

Guest

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a mod/contribution that will allow me to enter "Retail" and "Our Cost" into the product admin. Then for all the products, it will display:

RETAIL: 19.99

Our Price: 14.99

And have a slash through the Retail price, and Our Price would be in red. Basically, I want it to look like the the product was listed in "Special" without having to actually put every product in Special. So when I actually have something I want to list as a special item, I could do so, and it would appear in the right spot, and have it look like...

RETAIL: 19.99

Our Price: 14.99

SPECIAL PRICE: 9.99 !!

With slashes through both the Retail, and Our Price.

Anyone know of a mod that will do this? Or interested in taking a crack at it?

Thanks!!

I'm looking for (kinda) the same thing right now!

I have products comming from multiple manufactures, with different prices. How can I give one product 2 or more prices?

(Product with manufacture "A" with price 10euro and manufacture "B" with price 15euro)

I tried Seperate Pricing Per Customer. I thought that would might do I wanted but it didn't :( Took me a shit load of time btw, it's a biggy.

Quantity Controller v5.1 has a List price added for products.

This is available in the contributions or on my site under the Downloads category.

Might also check for threads on this about a few corrections to be made that I have not added to the download yet.

Frying,

You might be able to do what you are looking for with the existing setup. I think you can set up seperate "models" basically, and list them with different prices. I think you do that in the Product attributes. With DVD sales I don't have to worry about it too much, so I haven't looked into it, but you might want to check there.

Ajeh,

I was hoping youd reply. I have been checking out many of your contributions (You have too many, slow down ;) I wasn't sure if they would suite my needs so I was hoping to get an answer from you, and I did :) Thanks, I'll go check out the contribution and threads now.

Ajeh,

I found it in the contribution section at

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ions,496/page,7

But all I see is a 5.0, 5.0 patch1, and 5.1 patch1. I don't actually see v5.1 by itself unless the patch1 is a full repack with the included language files.

I went to your site to get it, and I wasn't really sure, but I didn't see a place to actually download it. So I went through the checkout with it. Call me simple, but was that right?

Thanks.

Thx Linda! I will give it a try.

Worldwidedvds I think you mean setting up attributes. I tried that, but it didn't work out the way I wanted it. I made an attribute "Manufacture" and gave them the different manufactures as options. So I can give a product that attribute and I can set a different price for every manufacture. Works fine.. but! When u choose a manufacture, that price will be added to the original product price :( grr.

Crappy explanation but it all comes down to: with use of attributes you can set up different prices for a product but these prices will be added on top of the original product price (ofcourse you can set those one on 0 but that looks silly when a customer is browsing the product catalog and all the products seems to be 0 euro :P).

When I finish the update to the Free Call for Price, you can use attribute pricing for the top display price.

This calculates the lowest of all the attribute groups to make the price for the product.

I hope to have in a selected attribute default for the pricing as well instead of just the lowest price.

Hot damn. What a bitch that add-on. I see it's a very nice one, with lot's of nice thingys. But I simply can't get it running lol. Well all the admin side stuff worked nice. But I think it are just to many files for me right now :) I will try finding an other solution for my problem.

I have a great project in mind but i havent got time to work on.

I want to add below functions to admin.

Inventory control

Cost of sales control

Income tax and sales tax calculation.

End of the month accounts

Sales book

Sales statistics

Cash book

Bank reconciliation

Returns and accountancy of returns

Also another thing in mind was creating another admin for distributers and adding dropshipping module.

Writing scripts for above functions will consume really much time which i dont have.

Is there a way to cheat the time?

I can't type a trick like i can type.

Well, you could kinap Old Man Time. You could build a time machine. There are several options.

Actually, I would be very interested in much of that as well. Anything that helps me get off quickbooks!

Linda,

Okay, I'm really not this stupid. I clicked or your link and it took me to the product in your store which I saw yesterday. I don't see any kind of download link though. I've signed in, and I've added to my cart and gone through checkout, but I'm just not seeing any kind of download link.

Help! I'm having a blonde moment!

I'll go hit my head with a hammer until I remember to stop...

Thanks!
