please could anyone assist asap i am trying to edit existing files for discout coupons

OPEN admin/includes/boxes/catalog.php

FIND on line 29:

'<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCTS_EXPECTED, '', 'NONSSL') . '" class="menuBoxContentLink">' . BOX_CATALOG_PRODUCTS_EXPECTED . '</a>' );

soon after i save this line my adminstrator panel disappears and i am stuck can anyone help.......
or the simple thing is can anyone assist to install discount coupons on my site and also to install a email newsletter add on awaiting to hear from anyone asap.....
