I have the authorize.net payment module set up and it will accept payment, however it does not show in the admin area the items that were ordered. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I don't know if you ever solved your problem but I have a similar one.  The payment is going thru but isn't getting place in my store.  The reason is that after submitting from the Order Confirmation page (checkout_confirmation.php) the order is submitted and properly returned to the checkout_process.php page but that fails the session check so the order never gets processed by my store.  I just can't figure out why my session is no longer valid.

Same here actually, and I'm only trying to use the default authorize.net module, not a fancy one.  Payment good, no order showing.  Customer cart still contains items.

I noticed on my system that client is forced logout and shown the login page immediately after clicking Confirm Order and the payment going through, instead of the final "Thanks!" confirmation page.  I have no idea what would be causing this.

Really wish Authorize.net was better supported here.

OK this worked for me...using the stock module (not SIM or AIM).
