I have read various posts here about a contribution that makes only the 4 middle digits visible or blanks out the middle 4 or something. I was under the impression that the new PCI requirements are that only the last 4 digits of the card number should show on receipts to the customer but that the merchant should retain receipts with the full number showing. Is that only for on site purchases and not applicable to Card Not Present Internet transactions? I'd appreciate any clarification or links to find out. Thanks.
