Please Help !!! I am  new user

i upload the oscommerce  osc22ms2update051113 on my server (godaddy) and rename the file to be shop

than type http://my site/shop/catalog/install/

but my page will show below

FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!

please help me :x

DON'T USE THAT VERY OLD VERSION.

Download and install v2.3.3 from HERE

do you mind telling me what is

Database Server ?? i use godaddy so am i type (www.godaddy.com)

Username ?? is my godaddy acount name ???

Password

Database Name = i already make a database for oscommerce is  (gloriaoutlet)

i am so sorry i am not very good at this ???

The TWO configure.php files need to be set up using the new database information and the actual path for your Godaddy hosting account.  However, because of security issues, I am fairly certain Godaddy will not allow you to enable register_globals.

I know the headertags_seo addon does this, and there may be others.
REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
I am not a coder, so dont bother sending PMs asking for help as you wont get any.  

OSC has a steep learning curve, but in general the program does work.  If it doesnt work, the chances are it is something you have done.
