If these "Brand Name" items are being supplied from China then they are almost certainly fakes, in which case you could get into big legal trouble on two counts:

1. Illegal use of a brand name (Breach of Copyright). This is a civil offence.

2. Selling fake (counterfeit) goods. This is a criminal offence.

.....and I don't care if your Chinese suppliers have assured you that they have all the legal documents allowing them to sell top Brand Name items to you. They always say that.

well, i'm sure that you know that LOTS (pretty much all) manufacturers of electronics are in China, HOWEVER we also know that TONS of counterfiets come out of CHINA> I know that i would be PISSED if i purchased a Dell laptop from you and brought it to an authorized Dell Repair shop to get it fixed, only to find out that it is some counterfeit computer.. That is just bad business. People should ALWAYS know about their distributors.. The best way to find out if your distributor is really distributing the real deal is to contact the manufacturer (ie: Dell, Motorola, ect) and ask them in so and so distributor in China is an authorized dealer. You really should know these things before you go into business with these companies.. you can and will eventually get into lots of trouble
