I ve little experience with SVN.
I send you an email 2 days ago to help for development too if you're interested
I'm working in French  SS2I wich allow me times to this task.

I've had contact with two community members of www.oscommerce-fr.info who started with an Alpha 4 compatible version of the translation files. Please send me your e-mail address via PM so that I can forward you their e-mail addresses.

What can I do to help ? Translation or Coding.

I'm actually writing some doc to explain what files/folders are important to create new theme, module, etc....

Did you get my e-mail forwarder from Malaiac where he says he will send us his current French language files?

As soon as we get them, you can continue transfering the existing French MS2 translation to the new formats. I would suggest you only make new translations where no old translations exist. This will speed up the process.

If you also want to help coding, please get in contact with Harald.

If your mail did not get spam filtered it might be that Harald is too busy to reply. I hope he'll get back to you sooner or later.

Alternatively, I can offer you to send me your French translation and I'll commit it to the SVN server with my account.

Thanks for your reply, I woulrd like doing it. Are the french transaltion in SVN  last version from other french team ?
They don't communicate :s

No, there's no French version, because the default MS2 only support English, German and Spanish.

I've just sent a reminder to Malaiac to forward me his version of the French translation so that you can continue from where he stopped. Will forward it to you as soon as I get it.
