Urgent! Need Cc_validation Files Lost

Hi I removed files from web/osc/includes/classes/cc_validation.

Can someone please send me the enire copy of the validation folder so that I can restore the files to this folder?

I also managed to romove files from the web/osc/includes/functions/general.php

If someone could send me the files in this folder, it would be a great help as well.

I've lost 3 customers today and need to restore this ASAP. Thanks in advance for your help.

You could get them from the oscommerce download (above menu, Solutions_Downloads) but i would be concerned that the files have the same code as your original ones. This is true of anyone sending them to you too. Have you asked your host to restore the site? Many hosts do backups and will generally do that as part of their service. I would check with them first.

I did ask my hosting company, but they said that they only have back ups for 24 hours. Apparently, I made the change 2 1/2 days ago. Which download should I use. They don't specify.

There are only two listed so you can take your pick, unless you know what version your shop was at. If you need an older set of files, they can be downloaded from sourceforge.net.

I checked them both. Unfortunately, the cc_validation file is not an option in the classes folder. Anymore suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is DAY 5 of an inoperable store.

I'm desperate. I need someone to send me the copy of the cc-validation file with or without the cvv2 option. At this point, I just want to remove the cvv option because trying to add this shut down my check out process.

Must have been sleepy at 3 AM. I found it! Copied it in and added the cvv code.

But now I'm getting a different error you may know something about:

[Credit Card Error!

CVV code is 3 or 4 digits ]

In the browser, I see the following:

Any suggestions? It looks like I'm closer to resolving this.

It's probably what I mentioned previously - the code you just added is not compatible with the rest of the code in your shop. Maybe you had a cvv contribuiton installed? You could try downloading that contribution from the contributions section and see if that will work.

I'm confused on your last message. I downloaded the entire contibution from PenguinMan98 Sep 06'.

I rechecked the download and there are no instructions for the checkout_payment.php., which is where the error is showing.

I feel helpless with this thing.

It's probably what I mentioned previously - the code you just added is not compatible with the rest of the code in your shop. Maybe you had a cvv contribuiton installed? You could try downloading that contribution from the contributions section and see if that will work.

Unfortunately, I don't know that anyone will be able to help you on the forums. There is no way to tell the status of the files before the problem happened. If you just blindly replace files, it will probably cause you problems at some point.
