jdessel
`'m just beginning to install OSC but I'm having a problem with the part telling me to run the installer. The problem is that I simply can't find the install.php file. Two other files seem to be missing as well... two of the files that the instructions told me to set permissions on. I tried re-downloading the program and they're still missing. Is anyone else aware of this problem & how was it rectified? I just don't know what else to try. Any help with this is GREATLY appreciated! Jackie
Trusten
it's not an install file, it's an install folder. catalog/install/ also, permissions, use your ftp program, then right click on the folder, then put the permissions at like 777 or something. good luck. cyrius
:( In the zip file there is no folder named install and no file called install.php ...
Trusten
are you using 2.2 or 2.
jdessel
I'm using 2.1 and I don't have a file or folder called Install either. The only thing that is named Install is the text file explaining how to get started. Should I scrap this and just use 2.2?
jdessel
I just downloaded 2.2 and all of the files that the instructions tell you should be there, are there. Don't know what's up with 2.1 Is anyone using 2.2 without a problem to run their site? I understand it's a beta but the first one apparently has the missing files issues. Or, maybe I'm just nuts.
