Cant get to "administration tool"

Cant get to the administration tool after install, when i was done configuring and installing it gives you 2 buttons, one says Catalog and the other says administration tool, the catalogs button works fine, takes me to the store and i can do an order and browse all over the place, but as soon as i click on the administration tools button i get "1046 - No Database Selected

 

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

sounds like something to do with the database obviously, but i cant get to it.

 

anyone have any ideas?

Configure the database.php file in the admin/includes/functions folder dude. Make sure that your "admin/includes/configure.php file is also ok. if this does not work let me know. ok

Well actually, that got me to the admin screen, but none of the links work, all dead pages it shows?

 

what else you think could be wrong?

 

any link on click on it brings me to a "page cannot be found"

where do i change this at?

fixed it, just ran install over again
