sheikyerbouti
but they seem to be related! 1. When i proceed to checkout, it prompts me for my password (since i've previously created an account) and then when i provide the password and click continue it takes me to the checkout_payment page (where i'm supposed to enter my credit card info). However, it tells me that i'm leaving a secure area... and the url reverts back to http rather than https. 2. So, i created a new fake account on my computer (first i deleted my temporary internet files from cache just to start fresh) and went through the same process, but this time when i entered the fake email address and password, it took me back to the catalog/default.php page with my ORIGINAL name at the top of the page "Welcome Pete" rather than the new account i had just created..... What the heck is going on???? It seems to be some crazy loop that won't let me checkout with a secure page. Please help. -pete

livefooduk
I don't know about your main problem but it will remember you when you return because you have not deleted the cookie. If you are using windows click start/find/files then put the pete in the field where it says "containing text" and where it says "Look in" put C:WINDOWSCookies (or where ever your cookies are stored if not win95/98) then click "find now" this will find the cookie from when you first registered as a customer in your shop. If you delete this cookie then your shop will not remember you on that PC unless you log in again. Best wishes Steve
