I have cookies turned on....yet, I still get the Cookie Usage page when I try to login to the page. I have 'force cookies' turned on. What gives? I have altered my header and footers.....did they contain anything related to cookies?

Are Oompa-Loompa's asexual?

What is the reason of forcing cookies? You need to be on a dedicated server for it. The http and https domains should match as the session will be wrapped in the cookie all the time. The fact that you're seeing this is either your configure.php file is incorrect or you're with a shared ssl.

Ok. Yes, I am on a shared server....so my http and https URL do not match. So, I cant force cookies on this kind of server setup?

no you cannot force them in that case. But the cookies should still work. As you browse your store after a couple of clicks you should see the session id disappearing from the address bar of your browser because the session cookie should be sent. If not, you should start checking your configuration file for the cookie settings.

You will see the session id appended again when you transition from http to https as the domains are different the session has to be passed through the get parameters to maintain session integrity.
