acicorp
:?: Perhaps this is the wrong forum but I was wondering if anyone on the development team or someone knowledgeable in programming to quote me on developing and installing a feature on our OS commerce site? We have a store but do not warehouse any of the product, therefore, when a customer buys, it is shipped from the manufacturer. What we would like to happen is that when a product is purchased an email is sent directly to the manufacturer with the details of the purchase and shipping instructions. Of course this would only happen upon a "successful check out" and would not necessarily need to include the actual selling price of the item, but would have the shipping instructions complete with the cost. This could either be a fixed cost or when it is a single manufacturer the actual cost that is configured by the already installed program. We can't be the only company that needs this type feature, fulfillment must be a major concern when your profit margin is very small and long distance calls to manufactures could easily eat your profits. Any suggestions or quotes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rick
