In catalog/admin/products_attributes.php replace $messageStack->add with $messageStack->add_session

This is for the error message to be shown when a non-existing file assigned to a group.

I have Ultimate SEO URLs v2.1d by chemo installed without any problem. Which SEO URLs version are you using?

I just installed "Ultimate SEO URLs - 2.1d with optional Admin settable Product and Category URLs" thats the latest one (except the memory exhausted fix) and I didnt find anything else that was wrong.. Except that the affiliate system didnt support it.

Please make sure you didn't set Use Search-Engine Safe URLs (still in development) to true with SEO URLs enabled.

I didnt, but maybe I installed something wrong. Anyways, I dont think I gonna use the SEO URL because I rather use the affiliate system and as they didnt work together I dont really have a choice.

Thank you Alex for this contribution.
I am trying to offer users download of flash files. As you know this requires at least two file – the flash .swf file plus html file to select the video size and other options.
I have tried to use this contribution with NO Redirect.  This way the user can only download the file (.swf or html) and will not let the user see the video “life” on is browser.
I have also tried to use the Redirect. This will let the user to see a “life” video without the need to download the entire flash file before watching it.
The problem is that it will allow only one file at a time to be redirected to the pub folder.
Which means only .swf file or html, not both which is needed to show the flash video.
I have no real experience with the download of oscommerce, so I am probably missing something.  
Any advice ?  thanks.

This contribution is developed to enhance the download module. It is supposed to redirect only one file at a time for downloads to work properly.

I don't think you can use any download module to 'show' your flash video which requires 2 files at the same time. You probably need to create a 'show flash module' to handle the job.

Hello-
Thanks for this contribution. I am installing it on a new store.  (along with Authorize.net AIM and Ultimate SEO). I get the order success page with the download link that looks like this ....store/download.php?order=6&id=3. But when I click on that page, nothing but a blank page comes up. I have /pub set to 777 and /download set to 777 and both have .htaccess files in them. Any idea as to where I should troubleshoot?

Most likely the filename doesn't exist in your download folder. Make sure the file is there and the filename is good.

I checked it and it seems to be there and matching what's in the product attributes. I've got a new problem that is preventing me from checking whether the download works now. I can no longer log in and get through the order process. I can login but it says nothing is in the cart and I just loop endlessly and can't get to the point of placing an order. I've installed the store and 3 contributions today: yours, Utimate SEO and Authorize AIM.  I think I have a problem in my configure.php because I know of at least one time when I partially overwrote it. Do you have any suggestions? I realize I'm outside the scope of just Super Download at this point. Thanks for any help.

It seems to me that there is something wrong with the sessions since you have login and cart content problems. Most likely your Ultimate SEO URLs installation is not done correctly. Payment and download modules are irrelative to session problems.

Yes, I at one time had session data building in the database but no longer. I emptied the table trying to flush all the data I could think of to get a restart on things. I installed in the order of Ultimate SEO, Super Download and then AIM. What would I troubleshoot to get sessions working again? Should I try backing out the Ultimate SEO install? Thanks.

If you have a complete backup including database before installing these 3 contrbutions, I would suggest you to restore it and start over with the order of AIM, Super Download and then Ultimate SEO URLs. Do it one at a time and test thoroughly before moving on to the next. e.g. test the stock download module with AIM, then install Super Download and test again. If everthing works just fine, then install Ultimate SEO. Backup in between is highly recommended.

This contribution only adds an entry in order's last_modified field, and break up file groups into individual files and log them into orders_products_download table. All these are done in checkout_process.php. I don't think this contribution can mess up your payment modules, unless you have done something terribly wrong while installing it.

For this contribution to work automatically, you need payment modules capable of updating orders status automatically upon payments completed. The stock PayPal module came with osCommerce doesn't have that feature. I have no idea about the other payment modules you're using. In case none of them updates orders status automatically, you need to update each order manually for download links to work.

Alex, so far great contribution!

I'm really impressed with everything--out of the box everything was working just fine, but of course, being an amateur, I didn't really think too hard about how best to go about installing contributions...

I'm in the process of fixing my broken little store because I tried to install OSCAffiliate on top of the Super Download Store, I think what happened was Affiliate called affiliate_checkout_process.php or something like that, and now I can't get any kind of download link.  I'll check back in an hour when my backup finishes installing...

I got both the affiliate system and this contribution installed and it working fine, however when I installed SEO too it stopped working. Im not sure if I did something wrong though but I will check it again when i have some time over. Right now im buried in homework.

Thank you for adding the Super Download contribution.  I have a store that sells my dj mixes and being able to group them is a must!  I followed your installation instructions explicitly.  Everything works until I try to add a file to my files group that I set up.  I am getting the following error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home2/mwade/gospeldjmixes-www/catalog/admin/includes/group_download.php on line 453
Add Multiple Files To Group     
1 Mixes 1
DIR_FS_CATALOGdownload/
No file found in this folder.
