I have a store that was working fine until I started moving it to a new server. This is what I've done so far...

I installed OSCommerce on the new server, which for some reason wouldn't let me install it on the root, so I had to create a catalog that I called 'osc'. So it lwas installed on mysite.com/osc/ and created the database osc1.

Then I dropped the tables in the new database and uploaded my old database.

Since I wanted the store to be on the root folder, I changed the 2 configure.php files according to my new location (mysite.com instead of mysite.com/osc, etc.) and uploaded all my files to the new host on the html_public folder (not the 'osc' folder).

Now I am getting the following message when I try to acces the site:

Warning: main(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/includes/filenames.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/username:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/username/public_html/includes/application_top.php on line 53

Warning: main(/includes/filenames.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /home/username/public_html/includes/application_top.php on line 53

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/includes/filenames.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/username/public_html/includes/application_top.php on line 53

I have no clue what this means or what to change where.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
