Hi, guys,

I built my store http://www.esilk.biz/ in august, and had product images uploaded on Sept 01. And on the same day, I paid to submit this tiny store to global search engines via http://www.searchenginesubmission.ws/. The bad news is that I am not list on most search engines till now. Heard that normally it takes 4-6 weeks for search engines to respond. To boost the traffic quickly, I bought some targetted hits from http://www.searchenginesubmission.ws/buytargetedhits.html . God knows how they make the campaign to promote my website. In cpanel, I can found less than 30 hits perday. :-(

Maybe I have been on the wrong track to promote my store. Could we here have some discussion about how to promote a website efficiently? Any idea regarding my store is appreciated to the maximum extent.

Thanks
-David Wang

I wish I had the design skills you show on your site. Looks very pleasant.

Have you thought of going to http://tucows.com/search and adding the words "search enging", and then trying all of the software that shows up?

You could quickly become an expert! :D

It is a good looking site. :)
Wang, it can take a long time to get indexed, even up to 6 months or so. So a couple of weeks is not bad at all.

I have a friend who advertises locally in flyers and magazines, that is always an option to boost traffic.

I suggest you spend some time optimizing the pages correctly. There really is no need to pay for all of those services if the page is setup correctly. For example, the title for your home page starts with esilk.biz. I would be surprised if that is a searched for term.

In addition to submitting to search engines, do also submitt your site to relevant directories.
