Orders not saved into database (internetsecure)

Can someone please help me with the following problem:
I just got my very first order this morning :D , got a confirmation e-mail from Intrernetsecure that everything was paid. What I didn't get was an e-mail telling me what they ordered, what attributes and shipping method. The order was not logged into the database either.
The same thing happens when I do a test order with COD - I have no trace of the order. So it's not just Internetsecure that is not working.
Where should I check for errors?

what happens when you process an order with check/money order or the generic credit card module?
what contributions have you added?
did you test the full functionality of the store after each contribution?

I have created myself an account as a customer would. If I place an order with Check/Money Order, I as a customer get a confirmation e-mail with all the info about the order.
But me as a merchant don't get any info that the order was placed.

Asfar as I remember, this used to work some time ago, but I have no idea where I could have screwed up.

I've added Internetsecure module and Canada Post module.
