Anyone know or use anything of this kind? I was thinking it would be interesting to start an auction site along with oscommerce....

Did you find anything? I have just been thinking it would be great to add an auction to my website to move some overstocked items.

There are several open source auction scripts done in PHP listed at hotscripts. For example:

Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database.
Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.
