How to set up?

I'm trying to get a shipping & handling set up on a site. I already opened an account with USPS, but now i'm inclear on how to go about adding the shipping into the total in the shopping cart? CAn anyone point me in the right direction....please?

you need to have usps set your account up on a production server.
then in admin/shipping enable usps and fill in the blanks

do u have weights on the products? if they are the same weights, etc and you are shipping to same zip code they dont change
