Michael,

I know I'm on 'slow band' but 3.5 mins to load your front page is too much :'( , although to see your work in flash it was worth it B) .

You have a problem on your main products scroller on the bottom the image between the 'kamasutra honey dust' and the pink 'stretch rings'. When I loaded it initially it was only partially showing. However on a reloading of the page it became clear.

Kama Sutra Honey Dust : [QUOTE] secrets a gentle surprise with every kiss proferring a tase of nature's sweetest gift.

Your erotic products only have one - the above mentioned honey dust.

YOu have no terms and conditions, shipping and returns etc in your catalog. YOu will need these if you are looking for people to shop at your store.

Regards
PhilipH

ps. The red scroll bars on the main site - are gross and don't do your site any favours.

Being on broadband I didn't fin speed to be an issue, but I have a few comments:

- It's a pain in the butt having to wait to scroll through products from left to right
- When adding a product to the cart your cart goes blank... as a customer I would want to return to the category where I just came from.
- It's visually appealing, but is the flash necessary?

Overall nice job. You're gonna find that search engines hate that site though... there's nothing to crawl... you might want to make a static site map linked off the main page.

I appreciate all the feedback, I should of mentioned that the company is targeting high-speed users only, So I can understand the problem with dial-up users not wanting to wait.

for some reason when you add an item to the cart it is not storing the data of the product you were at when you added to the cart. There is an actionscript 2 function StoreData() that for some reason stopped working. I need to see what the problem is, because it should refresh the flash back to the added product.

Thanks again,

Keep up the pounding

Good luck getting any sales! More than 30 seconds to load and I'm gone - and there's many "adult" sites to choose from.

Flash movies == big mistake.

The design is nice (as others have mentioned), but it's been implemented badly.

well its a tough road since the client specifically asked for it. If it were my client I would communicate with them as to the benefits of not using it or using it very sparingly.

Regardless of the clients they are after (as previously mentioned - you said they are targetting broadband/high speed IT access users) the site should still have functionality that is easily used and less restricted.

Again it is up to you as the contractor to manage your clients expectations and let them know that by pigeon holing their efforts - their returns will be far less then they could or should be.

Another suggestion would be to create a non flash version of the site and a splash page (landing page) that gives the site visitors the option to use either.

The layout is nice but I have to agree that it could have been used a bit better.

Even on broadband I found it annoying that when I choose a section of products to view... it then has to call for another flash movie to load before I can even view it.. People on the net are impatient and with alot of competitors sites out there - people simply will not wait or tolerate slow sites regardless of their internet connection speed.

Hope my input helps...

Use flash elements (such as a ritzy navigation menu) rather than making the whole site flash. Maybe even make a flash introwhich will give people the option to skip it. A Flash header is always a good idea too if you're going to use flash. For some good ideas on how to incorporate flash into a site visit http://www.templatemonster.com. Always a good place to visit for ideas. :)
