Just a thought, havent seen the code yet, but why not assign 280*280 image sizes in a new tep_image_link written specifically for the twitter card?

I do something similar for social bookmarks, they pull their own defined data, and if blank strip any HTML descriptions, and Image paths could easily be done the same way, if your images are larger, then using KISS_thumbnails could help tremendously.

thanks for your suggestion...bear in mind that I'm no good at coding, perhaps you should discuss this with Gary. I do use KISS thumbnails and my thumbs are currently 300x200, my worry is that automatically resizing a rectangular image into a 280x280 square one will make it loose its proportions....maybe I'm wrong, just a thought.
